DR Derry Rogers

Dr Derry Rogers received his BDSc, LDS from the University of Melbourne in 1977. He is the founder and past president of the Australian Society of Dental Aesthetics, a past accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Fellow of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and a member of the International Who’s Who of Professionals.

He is the Clinical Director of The DR Institute, delivering clinical hands-on seminars and didactic programs for dentists globally. He is an international lecturer and author of numerous articles and manuals on Cosmetic, Reconstructive Dentistry and Practice Management.

He completed an Executive MBA at Harvard University in 2010.

When not in clinic or teaching, Dr Rogers enjoys skiing, flying his Cessna, tennis with his Vino Rosso group of mates (25 years and going strong) a good wine and general fitness to stay healthy and focused on assisting his team at DR Dental.

Dr Paul Mueller

After graduating from La Trobe University in Bendigo, where he obtained his BDS MDent.

Dr Mueller returned home to Melbourne and joined the DR Dental Team. Paul is dedicated to providing the best quality dental care to his patients and aims to deliver comprehensive treatment as a priority, taking the time to listen and understand each patient’s individual needs.

Paul has a keen interest in Root Canal Treatment and Oral Medicine, and also works alongside Associate Professor Michael Stubbs, a renowned Oral Medicine Specialist in the management of sleep disordered breathing, temporomandibular disorders and oral mucosal disease. 

Paul has been recognised for his academic achievements and has received awards from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Australian Dental Association, and Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry.

Paul prides himself on evidence-based practice and believes prevention is always better than cure, working with his patients to optimise their long-term oral health.

Helen Ago

Since graduating from Melbourne University School of Dentistry as an Oral Health Therapist in 2010, Helen has gained extensive knowledge on gum treatment and dental therapy working both in cosmetic and general dental practices around Melbourne. She originally worked with Dr Rogers after graduation before rejoining the team earlier this year.

Helen has a special interest in the link between gum issues and systemic health.  She enjoys creating strong relationships with her patients which helps her provide better ongoing professional maintenance care. Her key focus is on educating and motivating them to create good home habits in order to control the environment of the mouth and its effects on the whole body.

Outside of the dental world Helen enjoys exploring the rest of the world and what different cultures have to offer. She loves good food and being outside in nature.

Our Dental nurses

Keivan Rahmati

Keivan graduated in dentistry in Madrid Spain in 2015. He worked as a general dentist in the northern city of Pavia in Italy where he is originally from, before deciding to further his education and move to Australia.

He obtained his MBA in Sydney in 2019 from UBSS and is currently in the process of becoming an Australian accredited dentist undergoing the Australian Dental Council examinations for international dentists.

Given the chance to learn from one of the best mentors in the field and recognising the importance of working in a digital incubator which DR Dental has become, he moved to Melbourne and joined their team in May 2020 as a dental nurse.

When not working, Keivan has a passion for everything fitness that allows him to keep a healthy and active lifestyle, he enjoys cooking Italian food while enjoying a glass of red wine, reading non-fiction books and listening to podcasts.

Jess has worked in the dental industry for 3 years having learnt a lot about patients wellbeing and healthcare. 

She was initially inspired by her close friends dedication to their patients health and wellbeing. 

She plays an important role in managing the hygiene department and ensuring the sterilization department is running at its highest level ensuring the safety of all our patients, as well as assisting the DR Dental clinical team to care for their patients.

In her spare time she likes to read and spend as much time as she can in the sun.
