Stages in Your Treatment
After your diagnostic and data collection visit your second visit will involve a Treatment Planning discussion visit and possibly your first visit with your hygienist to assess the presence and level of gum infection (via periodontal charting).
The diagnostic data collected at the first appointment will be reviewed in the following ways:
- Aesthetic concerns as they relate to the appearance of teeth in the facial smile
- Functional considerations as they relate to grinding and clenching issues
- Structural issues as they relate to foundation concerns about the strength of teeth
- Biological principles of oral health including gum, bone health and jaw joint stability
- Position of teeth within the facial appearance
Our team of clinicians will review all the information collected and prepare a Treatment Plan to encompass your dental concerns and needs and present it to you in a comprehensive step wise treatment sequence over the timeline that suits your specific financial and time availability.
Our belief is that thorough diagnosis and disclosure of all dental issues and their long term potential provides you with the options to define your treatment expectations and co-develop your long term dental health success.
