Cerec Porcelain Fillings CAD/CAM
CEREC (Ceramic Reconstruction) or CAD/CAM technology allows you to save time and get better results by taking advantage of advanced technology to restore your teeth in one visit.
One of the biggest advantages of CEREC is its convenience. If you need a crown, inlay, or onlay, you can have some of your teeth rebuilt in a single visit at DR Dental. Traditionally, these procedures required two trips to the dentist.
In a traditional 2 visit process, at the first visit, the dentist prepares the tooth, takes a mould and places a temporary crown or inlay in the tooth. In a couple of weeks, after the crown or inlay is manufactured at the dental laboratory, you need to return to the practice so that the dentist can remove the temporary filling and fuse the permanent one.
The CEREC process lets you receive your crown or inlay right here in our practice, so you do not have to wait for 2-3 weeks with a temporary fix and saves scheduling another appointment.
